a great exciting time .. 2 domestic violence performances and trip to beloved suomenlinna and estonia* with a surreal ferry :D
-15 in the snowland.. tones of icey white substance.. finish sauna and some good music*
+ new people, interesting minds / places + intellectual escapades.. and our video making and field recordings, when we walked through cold streets of helsinki, climbed on the snowy windy edges of the suomenlinna island and dive in a snow…

- a space for innovative av art, electronic experiments, circut bent / arduino fans and sound adventures / little lab for performances and workshops…
on 14th of december we gave a performance at La Bas.. the space is so beautiful with a great PA …amazing..

incredible experience to see their working studio.. like a church of circuit bending and sweet home for old equipment i was drowning in a flood of cables/plastic toys/speakers/tubes/tv’s/strange gadgets/colours/materials/all electronics you can imagine from childrens automatic toys to advanced old school equipment..

those guys are making there such a great instruments and toys!* WOW.. in fact.. i’ve never ever seen so much equipment in one space.. shelves full of stuff… o . O’ this is passion..
i had to make just few pics of one of the rooms.. i wanted to stay there forever being surrounded by so many electronic impulses.. :D
it was great.. we started to play with the toys we did a collective short set*

as a part of london underground festival [ http://www.londonundergroundfilmfestival.org.uk/ ]
pussykrew did live video mix for ‘dreams and realities’ installation by jose macabra
theatrical rich controversial preformance + 3 screen live video installation.. 2 screens of mixed material + live feed video cam…
we were mixing video footage on one of the screens while another group of video artists were taking care of the 2nd one..
actors, performers and their actions were recorded live with the camera and shown on the 3rd screen.
intervention was accompanied with live sound performance

pussykrew collective did a number of videos for this project previously…

fukalata’s music is on the border of electronic adventures/neofolk/post-rock??/ambient/lyrical poetry/childish songs and your skin*
pussykrew videos and fragments of other video artworks produced by me and andrzej fitted perfectly in a light-dark glow cosmic mood of their sounds*
we used some of our previous works as well as the footage which we recorded few days before ‘moving closer’ performance.. this material was recorded for few particular songs…

for the visuals except modul8 we also used max/msp/jitter and created a quick patch for live 3D shape animations… and different range of modifications in it…
we used / jit.gl.model / object which is an jitter object for 3d object simple manipulations. some data was extracted from jit.model help file and modified
leopard shape is a mask for a different video footage which appeared to be inside the shape..
for the more abstract feeling the leopard shape was multiplied and combined as a hybrid…
- the mirror effect is a “facet” command turned on inside the jit.model.
the video footage ‘inside’ the 3D shape was previously datamoshed / distroyed for the extra effect..
[the texture of a model is a quicktime looping sub-patch with datamoshed video...]
