Xue Yan – Digital Identity
Digital Identity is an interactive exhibition designed by Xue Yan, a student from MRes of Digital Media of Newcastle University, and aims to explore the relationships between individuals and digital world.
Xue used the mirror interface technology as a platform to build a connection between observers and digital information displayed on both visual and audio aspects; she also researched the synesthesia theory and colour psychology as the methodology and Embodied Cognition as well as Phenomenology of Perception as the basic theories support. At the end of this exhibition, Xue expected to create a unique Digital Identity belong to each observer and then lead them to a Unique Experience of Synesthesia.
